Flagstaff, Arizona is quite simply the best location in Arizona to run residential soccer camps during the summer time. Situated at 7000 feet and surrounded by the snow-capped San Francisco Peaks, the campus of Northern Arizona University is the perfect setting for non-stop soccer. It is a secure, safe environment and the low temperatures and cool breezes allow for two practices and evening scrimmages every day. The soccer facilities that we use are state of the art as the University recently completed a multi – million dollar lighted turf field project that we use every day. In Arizona there is only one place to play soccer during the hot summer months!
The soccer experience that we create is beyond compare, yet we try just as hard to create the camp experience that will last forever. From the ‘crossbar challenge’ to the Thursday ‘talent night’ we encourage laughter, fun and enjoyment. Many players return to Flagstaff year after year and many lasting friendships have been formed at our camps. We have the highest camper return rate of any soccer camp in Arizona.
All of the residential campers are housed on campus, play on campus and eat 3 meals per day on campus. The players are with the coaches and counselors 24 hours a day both on the field, in the cafeteria and in the dorms. All of the players must adhere to a strict schedule and a night time curfew. Both the English Soccer Experience and NAU make supervision and safety the highest priority.
The English Soccer Experience coaching staff is a dynamic mix of English coaches and US based professionals that we feel make us the premier soccer camp in Arizona. Coaches are selected based upon coaching ability, playing ability and more importantly their ability to relate to players and make their residential experiences unforgettable. All of the English Soccer Experience coaches are on campus 24 hours a day, coaching, supervising, playing and creating memorable moments.
In the summer of 2015 we had the biggest summer in our history. Over 745 players joined us in Flagstaff from numerous states and 3 different countries. Come and see what the fuss is all about!
